also, is there a way to not have the menu titles on the page when someone clicks on it… ie when you click on About, not having the page have a header that says “About” ... thanks!

Great theme!! Just about to put a site live and all of a sudden the backround image in the transparent theme has gone. The jpg is still there and the theme options still point to it but its just showing a grey background.

i’ve checked the css and all the relevant files and everything seems to be in place. Can you let me know what might be casueing this and how I can fix t.

It’s me again, and since I did not yet get an answer, I decided to refine my questions and to give you some screen captures to help as well !

Please answer as soon as possible, since I’m stuck with these 2 issues right now.

I would like:

1) replace the beginning of the 3 featured pages on the homepage by a custom text, while maintaing the links as they are:

2) Correct the problem that causes the pages’ titles to display differently than the posts titles (no line and not enough space between the title and the text of the page itself), as shown here:

Have you blocked all SEO on this theme? I cannot get it to display anything but zero keywords and meta description is just another wordpress blog. I notice it is like this on your demo.

Under a root level I have 12 items to display but only the 9 first are shown correctly with the grey background with hte top navigation menu

OK I fixed it: I’ve extended the height of “menu_li_bg.png” and it works now

Thank you for your reply and for looking into this matter. Please let me know the solution when you hear back from the developer. I hope he will be able to find a solution quickly. Oddly enough, if you go to the page you will see that Cufon does render the apostrophe in the H1 tag for the title/header on the page. Comparing these instances in the code may help the developer find the problem and the solution. Thanks again for your help with this issue.

I have successfully installed the Old Times theme in WP 3 .0 and PHP 5 . but cannot find how to add additional boxes on the home pages. Under WP Dashboard > Just Like Old Times > Homepage > Homepage Options there is only one “HomePage – Box 1” listed. How do I add the additional boxes.

thanks for the reply – although I dont think I have fully understood the relative paths option – I asked if you could tell me where I add this? as in the HTML option tab in the posts I cannot see where I add these?

I’m sure there must be a fix as other themes I am using use the timthumb script and run fine and the hosting is on the same company and setup so hopefully I can get this working as the client has been waiting for such a long time now, he loves the design and I dont want to go back and say I need to change this now. :o)

if you could help me find the answer then hopefully I can leave you alone ;o) Or indeed is there anyone out there that has had this issue and remedied it easily that can help????

I am in love with this theme – and thanks for making the code so easy to follow . I’m not a WP expert but it’s all looking good for me apart from a couple of confusing things… I have read through this forum but can’t see the answers:

1) Accordion Images I can’t see how to get the image on the accordion to appear at the correct size on the accordion AND to appear without being chopped on the post page. Accordion likes 640wide but main content area is only 560wide. Am I missing something? The first slide has the correct width on the page, but this makes the accordion image too small. The other 3 are fine on accordion but chopped on the post page.

2) Portfolio & Social Buttons Is there an easy way to stop SexyBookmarks (or any other social sharing plugin buttons) from appearing on the portfolio Galleria pages? I want social stuff on normal posts but not in the Portfolio Galleria.

Is it possible to have a drop-down menu on the Blog based on several categories?

If not, when in the Blog, how else can you navigate using Categories? ie can you add categories to the Default Navigation in the right-hand column, or does that only consist of Pages? In other words, can the Default Navigation be edited?

Administration options very poor so I can’t manage articles because all items are considered as article then portfolios items will published in the blog page. Also very poor support, request additional costs to make the template used is unacceptable. I really regret my purchase and would not recommend. I’ve just lost $ 37 because this template is unusable.

I don’t quite get how the portfolio works. I have it setup:

but when you click on the picture, you get the picture, you get the picture and when you click on the words, you get the post… this has confused every person I’ve had look at the site. Anyway to just make them consistent? My preference would be to have them both point to the post…since the portfolio doesn’t act as a gallery anyway.
